Chittagong University Announces Admission Test Schedule for 2026-27 Academic Session

Chittagong University has announced the tentative schedule for its 2026-27 academic session undergraduate admission examinations. The testing period is set to commence on January 29, 2026, and will conclude on February 8, 2026. Prospective students may submit their online applications starting November 15, with the application window closing on December 10.

University authorities confirmed the schedule in a press release issued on Sunday afternoon, signed by SM Akbar Hossain, the university’s Deputy Registrar (Academic) and Secretary of the Admission Committee.

According to the official announcement, examinations will begin on January 29 with the C Unit, followed by the A Unit on January 30. The B Unit examination is scheduled for February 5, while the D Unit examination will take place on February 6. Additionally, the sub-unit examinations are set for February 3 for B-1, February 4 for B-2, and February 8 for D-1.

Consistent with the previous year’s protocol, the A, B, C, and D unit exams will be conducted across the divisional cities of Chittagong, Dhaka, and Rajshahi. However, the B-1, B-2, and D-1 sub-unit exams will be held exclusively on the Chittagong University campus.

Speaking on the matter, SM Akbar Hossain stated that the schedule was finalized during the inaugural meeting of the admission committee held on Sunday. He noted that no further decisions regarding the admission process have been reached at this time.
