Five members of a family were killed by slitting their throats in Gazipur’s Kapasia. The bodies of five people were found lying in Forkan Mia’s house in Routkona village of the upazila on Saturday morning.
According to local residents, the bodies of three children, a woman and a young man were found lying on the floor of the house early this morning. When the news spread, the surrounding people rushed to the spot.

Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Kapasia-Kaliganj Circle) Asaduzzaman confirmed the truth of this news. He said, initially it is believed that the owner of the house, Forkan Mia, committed the murder. He allegedly killed his three children, wife and brother-in-law by slitting their throats. He is absconding since the incident.
