Salman-Nayantara in a movie for the first time, shooting has started

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and South Indian cinema’s ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayantara have started working on their new movie together. The shooting of the movie has started in Goregaon, Mumbai. For now, the film has been named ‘SVC 63’.
The project was officially launched on Saturday (April 18) with a special puja ceremony. It is to be noted that Salman Khan is going to share the screen with director Pedpalli and actress Nayantara for the first time through this movie.
The first phase of the movie is being shot at the SRPF ground in Goregaon. According to ‘Variety India’, there is a huge set built in the model of a crowded city. It is said that the shooting of this movie will continue for three months in various cities of India including Mumbai. Director Pedpalli will shoot several high-voltage action scenes of Salman in this long schedule.

According to the producer sources, they aim to complete the main part of the shooting of the film between August-September 2026. If everything goes well, this big budget movie will be released on Eid 2027.
Apart from Salman and Nayantara, the film will also feature ‘Roja’ fame actor Arvind Swamy and Anil Kapoor in important roles. Director Vamshi Pedpalli has earlier given blockbuster movies like ‘Yevadu’ (2014), ‘Maharshi’ (2019) and ‘Barisu’ (2023).
Apart from this new movie, Salman is also busy with the war-based film ‘Matri Bhumi’. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film will feature Chitrangada Singh opposite the actor.
Bollywood Hungama reported earlier that the movie was inspired by a true incident. But at the request of the Ministry of Defence, the story has been recast. 40 percent of the shooting is done afresh. That is why the date of liberation of the motherland has been postponed indefinitely.
