i can’t sleep It seems again and again, this is the revolution calling me. Mom, Mago-give me breakfast! I heard his footsteps on this side of the room and on the other side. Like the sound of a bullet that day, I still startle at any sound.

Thursday (April 9) Biplab Hasan’s father. Deputy Commissioner of Mymensingh gave a savings certificate of Tk 20 lakh to Babul. Saifur Rahman. Bilkis Akhtar participated in the event and reminisced about his son.

The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Lutfun Nahar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Reza Md. Golam Masum Pradhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development and Human Resource Management) Umm Habiba Meera, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Azim Uddin and others.

He said that his son was buried next to the house, police came to the house every day after his son’s janaza, I used to leave the house day and night. If the Hasina government does not fall, it seems that I will have to spend the rest of my life in jail for the crime of my son’s agitation.

Biplab Hasan, the only son of Babul Mia’s three children, is the eldest. He was an SSC candidate of Haji Mozaffar Ali Fakir High School. Babul Mia said that in the morning, Biplab joined the procession after taking 50 taka from his mother to have breakfast.

Biplab Hasan was martyred in the popular uprising on July 20, 2024 in Gouripur. A police bullet entered the head of the revolutionaries who were at the forefront of the curfew-breaking procession that day and exited at the other end.

Union Chhatra Dal leader of Biplab Hasan’s comrades in the movement. Billal Miah recalled that during the July-August movement, Sub-Inspector (SI) Shafiqul Islam fired at Biplab Hasan, who was in the movement, at close range. Biplab fell on the ground near the mosque near Delta Mill on the Gouripur-Kaltapara road. At that time, when some of us went forward, the police became more reckless and started firing. In this we retreat.

Then SI Shafiqul Islam shot two more consecutive shots on the head of Biblab who was lying on the road. One of its bullets burst out of the revolutionary head. Later, SI Shafiq boasted and said – ‘Take the body now.’

Bahalul Munshi, a fellow soldier of the revolution, said that day was Saturday, July 20. As previously announced, the students and leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement took a stand at Kaltapara market in Gouripur on the Mymensingh-Kishorganj highway. Biblab also joined the movement after taking 50 rupees from mother Bilkis Akhtar. He told his mother that he would return home after breakfast. Adventurer Revolution returns home right, but with a frozen body, resting on the shoulders of others.

He also said that the police stopped firing first. After that, the Awami League fascist police collected more bullets and fired them at the student crowd. Biplab was shot in front of me. He was a member of Douhakhla Union Chhatra Dal.
