The person was lying unconscious in Shantinagar

A person was found unconscious in the capital’s Shantinagar on Thursday afternoon. His name is Anwar Hossain (55). He was a building construction subcontractor by profession. He was rescued at around 5:30 pm and taken to Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital. There the doctor declared Anwar dead.

Anwar Hossain’s family lived in Shantinagar. His son Rakibul Islam said that in the afternoon, father went to see the work of a building under construction in the area. There he fell ill suddenly. After receiving the news, Rakibul went to the spot and saw blood coming out of his father’s mouth. He was quickly rescued from there and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Inspector of the police outpost of the hospital. Farooq said that the doctor declared Anwar dead around 5:30 in the afternoon.

Rakibul said that his father was suffering from high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. It is believed that he may have had a stroke.
