The death of the householder in the house fire, four people were burnt, it is believed to be due to ‘gas accumulation’

Mir Kalam died in a house fire in Fatulla, Narayanganj. Four more members of his family are under treatment in the hospital due to burns in this incident. The doctors said that the condition of all of them is critical.
Kalam died on Monday around 11 am while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Shawon bin Rahman, resident surgeon of the institute, confirmed the matter.

The fire incident took place in a house in front of Bangla Tower in Giridhara area of Fatulla on Sunday morning. Vegetable seller Mir Kalam (35), his wife Saima (32), son Munna (12) and two daughters Katha (4) and Munni (7) were burnt.
Shawn bin Rahman, a doctor at the Burn Institute, said that 95 percent of Kalam’s body, including his airway, was burnt. His wife Saima suffered 60 percent burns, son Munna 30 percent, daughter Katha 52 percent and Munni 35 percent.

Brought the burnt people to the hospital. Rakib said that there was a sudden explosion in the house around seven in the morning. Hearing the sound, the people around went ahead and saw that the fire was burning inside the house. Later they were rescued from inside and quickly brought to the burn institute.
The deceased Kalam’s village house is in Balukdiye village of Baufal police station in Patuakhali.
Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defense, Abdullah Al Arifin, said yesterday, initially, it is believed that there was a leak in the gas line of the kitchen with the room on the west side of the flat. Gas accumulates in closed rooms. Later, when he tried to light the lighter, there was an explosion.
