A man who was hacked due to a dispute over land in Chittagong’s Patiya has died while undergoing treatment. He died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital at six o’clock in the morning on Monday.

The name of the deceased is Abul Kashem (55). He is a businessman by profession. His house is in South Gobindarkhil area of ​​Ward No. 8 of Patia Municipality. He was cut and injured last Wednesday. He was then admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment.

According to the police and the victim’s family sources, there was a dispute with Abul Kashem over the land of one of his neighbors. When the opposition tried to build a road over the land, Abul Kashem was stopped. This led to a quarrel between the two family members. At one stage, Abul Kashem, his brother Abul Kalam (50) and Abu Musa (47) were cut and injured with sharp weapons. Local residents rescued them and took them to the hospital. Abul Kashem died there. Among the injured, Abul Kalam’s condition is critical.
