Shroud clothes came by post, two teachers panicked

Shroud cloth has been sent in two parcels in the name of two assistant professors of Rosi Mozammel Women’s College in Gurdaspur, Natore. In this incident, panic has been created among the teachers and staff. 

On Sunday (April 12) morning, the shroud cloth was sent to the college address in the name of Anwar Hossain, Assistant Professor of Psychology Department and Abdus Samad, Head Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies Department.

It is known that two persons named Likhan Hossain of Kharkaria area of ​​Tarash upazila of Sirajganj and Johnny Ahmed of Vadash area sent the parcel by post. Panic prevails in the college in this incident. Later, at 11:50 am, members of the Gurdaspur police station seized the two parcels from the college and took them to the police station.

Two parcels arrived in the mail on Thursday afternoon. The office head received the parcel. But as the recipient of the letter was not present, the parcel was handed over to them intact on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, Professor Anwar Hossain and Abdus Samad said, “We are afraid of getting the shroud cloth.” GD has been done at the police station.

Principal Mahatab Uddin expressed regret and said that the office assistant Rafiza Khatun and later the recipient of the parcel Anwar Hossain and Abdus Samad did not inform me about the arrival of the two parcels. They will take legal action in this regard.

The newly elected president of the college management committee, Prof. Omar Ali said, Professor Anwar Hossain and Abdus Samad are in charge of the college’s income-expenditure auditors. Audit is going on in the college. The parcel may also be sent to intimidate.

He said, legal recourse has been taken. Police are taking action. It can also be a group manipulation due to internal conflicts in the college.

Gurdaspur Police Station OC Manjurul Alam said that a GD has been registered in the police station in this incident. The culprits will be investigated and brought under the law.
