The new government has decided to observe November 7 as Revolution and Solidarity Day again. The day will be observed as a public holiday. Apart from this, the government has planned to produce 10,000 megawatts of electricity by solar power by 2030. A committee has been formed for this.

These decisions were taken at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tariq Rahman at the Secretariat today Thursday.

According to Bass news, after the Cabinet meeting, Cabinet Secretary Md. Nasimul Gani said in the briefing that the government has decided to observe November 7 as Revolution and Solidarity Day. This day has not been celebrated in the state for the past 16 years. From now on it will be celebrated with due dignity and this day will be a public holiday. He further said that July 6 will be observed as Rural Development Day. However, there will be no public holiday on this day.
