Rangpur: Cow residential hotel, innovative initiative

Ashanur Islam (45) of Rangpur Nagar opened a cow residential hotel with his father from the experience of lack of space to keep cows in the cow market, suffering from storms and sun and sudden death of cows. In ten years it has become a center of trust for long-distance traders. Currently it is being operated on 50th century land. Traders from different districts of the country, including Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet, are keeping their cows safely here for a daily rent of Tk 50 per cow (Tk 60 on Qurbani Eid).
