Measles testing is low in Kitsank, detection is also low

Measles is not adequately tested. Fewer tests are being conducted every day due to shortage of kits. It does not give an accurate picture of the country’s measles situation. Measles tests are conducted only at the government’s public health institute laboratory at Mahakhali in the capital. There is no such examination system anywhere else in the country. Director of the organization Mominur Rahman said, “We have the capacity to test three-four hundred samples daily. We are now testing an average of 120 or so samples per day. Due to shortage of kits, more tests are not possible.
