I Will Go to the Polling Centre After Fajr Prayers and Return Home With the Result: Kaykobad

Muradnagar (Cumilla): BNP Vice Chairman and BNP-nominated candidate for Cumilla-3 (Muradnagar), Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaykobad, has said that on polling day he will go to the polling centre after offering Fajr prayers along with the people, cast his vote, remain at the centre until the results are announced, and return home with the outcome.
He made the remarks on Monday while addressing a public election rally as the chief guest at the Begum Sufia Shawkat College ground in Dighirpar of Bangra West Union under Muradnagar upazila.
Addressing the gathering, Kaykobad said he had been forced to remain outside the country for 13 years after becoming a victim of false and politically motivated cases. He urged the people to continue standing by the BNP in the days ahead, as they had done in the past.
He said the BNP is moving forward with clear and well-defined plans aimed at public welfare. “If the BNP gets the opportunity to form the government through the people’s mandate, we will fulfil the aspirations of the people, Insha’Allah,” he added.
The rally was presided over by Muradnagar Upazila BNP Convener Mahiyuddin Anjan. Special guests included Molla Golam Mahiyuddin, a member of the Cumilla North District BNP Convener Committee. Also present were Upazila BNP Joint Conveners Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Shah Alam Sarkar, Haji Idris, Nazrul Islam, Faruk Sarkar Mujib, Amzad Ali Tusu, Zahir Siddiqui, Jamal Hossain, among other party leaders and activists.
Earlier, while heading to the public rally, the paddy sheaf candidate addressed several roadside meetings at Nabipur, Mochagara, Jatrabpur, Mirzapur, Gazipur and Chapitala areas of the upazila.
A large number of men, women and youths joined the roadside gatherings. Enthusiastic people were seen standing on both sides of the road, raising their hands and greeting the candidate as his convoy passed by.
