Hossain’s wife, 40-year-old Mosammat Hasnahena, and their 25-year-old daughter, Akhi Akter, remain under intensive care at the same facility. Hospital records indicate that Hasnahena suffered burns covering 60 percent of her body, while her daughter sustained 15 percent burns.

The fire broke out on Saturday morning as the family began their daily routine. According to relatives who rushed the victims to the hospital, the blaze originated in the kitchen when Hasnahena attempted to light a stove. Witnesses believe a gas leak, potentially exacerbated by faulty equipment, caused the fire to ignite and spread instantaneously throughout the residence.
