Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Susan Grace met with Brigadier General (Ret.) A.K.M. Shamsul Islam, the Prime Minister’s Defense Adviser, on Tuesday to explore avenues for deepening bilateral military and strategic cooperation. The meeting took place at the Armed Forces Division office in Dhaka Cantonment, where the High Commissioner was accompanied by a three-member delegation.

Discussions during the session focused on strengthening the long-standing friendly ties between Dhaka and Canberra, with a specific emphasis on expanding defense collaboration. Both sides engaged in a productive dialogue regarding the exchange of military expertise and the identification of future areas for cooperation.
