Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Officers Association Election (2026) as president. Golam Mahbub and ATM Golam Kibria were elected as General Secretary. They will perform this duty for the next two years.

The election was held last Tuesday at the head office of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission in the capital. In the election, the head of administration department of Ruppur nuclear power plant construction project from ‘Mahbub-Kibria’ Parishad. Ghulam Mahbub won the post of president and ATM Ghulam Kibria, head of the administration department at the commission’s head office (Dhaka), won the post of general secretary.

Others elected from the same council are Senior Vice President Mahmud Hossain, Finance Secretary Masud Rana Mandal, Joint Secretary Mohammad Samsuddoha, Cultural and Sports Secretary Munsi Maqsud Rana (Naseem), Office Secretary Maruf Hossain, Information and Publication Secretary Md. Solaiman Mia and Women’s Affairs Editor Mocha. Rozina Parveen.

In addition, he won as a member of the executive council. Habibur Rahman, Masud Al Azad, Md. Abu Taher and Md. Altaf Hossain.

On the other hand, among the independent candidates. Ajibur Rahman Molla was elected as Vice President and Saikat Ahmed as member of Executive Council.
