Application for formal complaint in the incident of shooting of two leaders of the camp

In 2016, a formal charge has been filed in a case of crimes against humanity committed in the shooting of two student camp leaders in Chowagacha, Jessore. The prosecutor made this application to the International Criminal Tribunal-1 on Sunday. Mizanul Islam.

In the hearing, the prosecution said that in 2016, Israfil Hossain, secretary of Chowagacha Upazila Chhatrashibir of Jessore, and Ruhul Amin, literary editor, were shot in the legs. Later they were taken to the hospital after putting sand in the shot wound and tied it with a towel. Their feet rot due to the introduction of sand. At one point their legs had to be amputated.

Former Jessore Superintendent of Police (SP) Anisur Rahman, along with eight accused in this case. Three of them are in jail. They were produced in the tribunal today. Five other accused are absconding.
