5 more children died in 24 hours with measles and measles symptoms in the country. The health department has confirmed the death of three children from measles. The remaining two children died of measles symptoms.

According to the information of the Department of Health, 1 thousand 115 children were admitted to different hospitals of the country with symptoms of measles at the same time. And measles was detected in 127 children.

Among the three children who died of measles in the last 24 hours, two children are from Barguna district of Barisal division. Another one from Dhaka division. The two children who died with symptoms of measles are from Dhaka division. During this period, maximum 120 children were diagnosed with measles in Dhaka division. 5 children were diagnosed with measles in Rajshahi Division. Measles was detected in one child each in Barisal and Khulna.

According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours, 1,115 children across the country have symptoms of measles. 515 of them are from Dhaka division. At the same time, 769 children were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of measles. Out of this, 357 children were admitted in Dhaka division. Minimum 4 children are admitted in Rangpur division. Apart from this, 747 children who were admitted with measles symptoms were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them 313 children in Dhaka division, 118 children in Khulna division.

According to the report of the Department of Health, a total of 37 children have died of measles since March 15. And 174 children died with symptoms of measles. At the same time, the total number of patients with symptoms of measles is 21 thousand 467. Among them, the number of patients admitted to the hospital is 13 thousand 898. 3 thousand 192 of them were diagnosed with measles. And the number of patients discharged from the hospital is 11 thousand 243.
