10 more children have died in the country in the last 24 hours with measles and measles symptoms. The Health Department has confirmed the death of four children from measles. The remaining six children died of measles symptoms. At the same time, 762 children were admitted to different hospitals of the country with measles symptoms. And 150 people have been diagnosed with measles.

This information is known from the latest report of the Department of Health on Sunday. This calculation is from April 11th at eight o’clock in the morning to today’s April 12th at eight o’clock in the morning.

All the four children who died of measles in the last 24 hours are from Dhaka. And six children who died with symptoms of measles, five from Dhaka division, one from Khulna. At this time, maximum 123 people were diagnosed with measles in Dhaka division. 21 people have been diagnosed with measles in Rajshahi division. And at least 1 measles patient has been detected in Chittagong and Sylhet.

According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours, symptoms of measles have been observed in 1 thousand 268 people across the country. 580 of them are from Dhaka division. At the same time, 762 people were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of measles, of which 357 were in Dhaka Division. The least number of patients were admitted in Rangpur (11) and Mymensingh (22).

Apart from this, 634 people admitted with measles symptoms have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them, maximum 312 people left the hospital in Dhaka division and 120 people in Chittagong division.

According to the information given in the report of the Department of Health, a total of 28 children have died of measles in 29 days since March 15. However, 151 children died of measles symptoms during this period.

Apart from this, out of 15 thousand 653 people who have symptoms of measles in the last 29 days, 10 thousand 225 people have been admitted to the hospital. 2 thousand 639 of them have been diagnosed with measles. And 7 thousand 656 people have returned home from the hospital after recovery.
