‘It Doesn’t End Here’ is a sequel to Michael Jackson’s biopic

The film ‘Michael’, based on the biography of legendary pop king Michael Jackson, has been released worldwide. Since its release, the movie has been making records one after another at the box office. Although Michael’s bright life is portrayed in the movie, many people regret that his dark side is not shown in the same way. 

Lionsgate studio head Adam Fogelson recently hinted that at least one more movie might be needed to tell the full story of the King of Pop’s life.

The recently released film ‘Michael’ has received a huge response from the audience but a large section of critics are unhappy. It has been alleged that the controversial issue of child abuse against the singer has been avoided in the film.

It is reported that director Antony Foucault originally filmed scenes of controversial events including police raids in Neverland. But those scenes had to be scrapped at the last minute due to legal complications with a complainant. As a result, the studio had to spend a lot of money to re-shoot. 

According to those involved, this deleted footage and some reimagined parts could make it into a possible sequel.

As director Anthony Foucault confirms, he has plenty of captured material that is perfect for the next movie. But he does not want to turn the matter into mere drama. 

Foucault said, ‘I want to portray Michael on the big screen not just as a superhuman star, but as a human being.’

Although there are many controversies about the film, its popularity among the general audience is sky high. ‘Michael’ has been showing incredible success at the box office since its release on Friday (April 24). This commercial success basically fueled the makers’ plans to make a sequel.
