Comedian Russell Brand has criticized former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, calling him a ‘descendant of Fidel Castro’.

Last April 22, participating in ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’, Brand commented on Katy Perry’s alleged relationship with Justin Trudeau. At the same time, he also talks about their broken marital relationship.

Brand said Perry “could snap at any moment” and said to keep an eye on the pair. He also questioned various aspects of Trudeau’s political behavior. Brand even claimed that Trudeau “invited an actual Nazi to the Canadian Parliament” in one incident.

But Brand spoke differently about Perry’s ex-partner Orlando Bloom. He described him as ‘great’.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry got married in October 2010. However, they separated after a little over a year, and in December 2011, the divorce proceedings officially began.

The brand took responsibility for breaking the relationship. He said, ‘It was my fault. I pushed for a quick marriage because I felt inadequate and insecure. I thought that if I marry him, I will become a better and more important person.

He also said such expectations put a strain on the relationship. He also noted that Perry is “a normal person” despite his global success.

Brand said Perry felt lonely as her career progressed. In his words, he felt ‘very alone’ at that time.

Despite criticizing the current partner, the brand made positive comments about Katy Perry. She described Perry as ‘absolutely charming’, ‘a very nice person’ and ‘incredibly hardworking’.
