‘Banlata Express’ is the first Bangladeshi movie to enter the $400,000 club

Dhallywood director Tanim Noor’s movie ‘Banlata Express’ has already released in America. The movie has received a great response since its release in Canada and the United States. The movie is currently showing in 21 theaters in North America. Among them, new records are being created one after another at the box office. In just two weeks, the lifetime earnings of ‘Hawa’, which topped the list, surpassed the starrer film ‘Banlata Express’. 

Actor Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Intekhab Dinar, actress Zakia Bari Mom, Ajmeri Haque Bandhan, Sabila Noor, Shariful Raj, Shyamal Mawla, Arefin Jilani, Lavanya Chowdhury, Masha etc. acted in the movie ‘Banlata Express’ produced by Buriganga Talkies and co-produced by Hochihai Productions.

‘Banlata Express’ became the first Bangladeshi movie to enter the $400,000 club in North America. Mohammad Aliullah Sajib, President of Swapna Scarecrow, the international distributor of this movie, confirmed this.

He said that the movie ‘Banlata Express’ has earned a gross collection of four hundred and one thousand dollars in North America in the first 17 days of its release. Not only that, the movie is doing great business in the third week as well. In the third week, ‘Banlata Express’ has collected a record 40 thousand dollars gross collection.
