Banned Chhatra League protest procession wearing red cap in Chittagong

The banned Chhatra League and Jubo League held a protest march in Chittagong demanding the release of the arrested leaders and activists and the lifting of the ban on the activities of the Awami League.
The procession was held at Ananya residential area of Kuaish Oxygen Road of Bayezid Bostami Police Station in the city on Friday afternoon. The matter came to light when the video of the procession went viral on social media at night.
In the video, a group of 40-50 people are chanting slogans demanding the release of the arrested leaders and workers of Awami League. Most of them had red caps on their heads.
When asked about this, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bayezid Bostami Police Station Abdul Karim told Prothom Alo that attempts are being made to identify and arrest BCL leaders and activists who are banned from participating in the procession. Eight people have already been arrested. Their information is being verified.
