Realme Narzo 80 Pro Review: A Gaming Powerhouse with Some Camera Trade-offs

After a long gap in the Narzo series, Realme Narzo 80 Pro has arrived in the Bangladeshi market. Priced around BDT 28,000–29,000, it is expected to drop to BDT 26,000–27,000 soon. The phone is available at Gadgetopia in Jamuna Future Park and on various online marketplaces.
Design & Build
The rear panel gives a premium feel despite being made of plastic. The unique pattern and deep orange camera ring make it stand out. It comes with IP68/69 rating and military-grade certification, making it resistant to water and dust. The plastic body reduces the risk of shattering if dropped, though scratches and dents remain possible.
Display
The device features a 6.72-inch OLED panel with 1 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support. It offers up to 4500 nits peak brightness and 391 PPI pixel density, delivering a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. The curved display and slim bezels enhance media consumption, but one-handed use may lead to accidental touches.
Camera
On the back, there’s a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor alongside a 2MP secondary lens. The front hosts a 16MP selfie camera. Images tend to have boosted saturation and contrast, making them ideal for social media but less natural in tone. In low light, some grain and noise appear, though night mode improves results. The phone supports 4K 60fps video recording, but fast movements can cause slight jitter.
Performance
Gaming is where the Narzo 80 Pro shines. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, UFS 3.1 storage, and Realme UI 6.0 (Android 15), it handles heavy games smoothly. PUBG runs at 90FPS on Smooth+Extreme settings, with minimal heating over long sessions. Free Fire and Genshin Impact also run without major hiccups. It’s available in 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage variants.
Battery & Charging
The 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with an 80W fast charger (included in the box) charges 50% in just 25 minutes. Bypass charging support allows you to play games while charging without stressing the battery.
Audio & Extras
The dual stereo speakers are loud and clear, though slightly thin in tone. Haptic feedback feels solid, and all essential sensors work as expected.
Verdict
The Realme Narzo 80 Pro is built with gamers in mind. Its powerful performance, large battery, and fast charging make it one of the top gaming-focused choices in its segment. However, those who prioritize camera performance may find it lacking.
Best for: Gamers and performance-focused users
