Bangladesh Honda Launches Shine 100DX to Expand Commuter Market Presence
Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) has launched the new Shine-100DX motorcycle, aiming to provide a more comfortable, reliable, and cost-effective commuting solution for riders across the country. The model was unveiled during a ceremony held recently at a hotel in Dhaka.
During the launch event, Susumu Mitsuishi, managing director and CEO of BHL, emphasized the company’s global commitment to delivering affordable, high-quality mobility solutions designed to enhance daily life. He noted that Honda consistently evaluates customer feedback to introduce new models, modern features, and refreshed aesthetic designs that meet evolving market demands.
Shah Muhammad Ashekur Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer of BHL, highlighted that the brand has long been synonymous with reliability, comfort, and operational efficiency in the local commuter segment. According to Rahman, the Shine-100DX is engineered to establish a new benchmark in the industry by integrating advanced technology with superior mileage and handling, ensuring a premium experience for everyday commuters.
The Shine-100DX is powered by a 100cc engine featuring Honda’s proprietary Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. The motorcycle is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, five-step adjustable rear suspension, and a Combi-Brake System (CBS) for improved safety. The design is further distinguished by contemporary graphics.
The motorcycle is now available at all Honda exclusive authorized dealer showrooms across Bangladesh, priced at 117,000 taka.
