Come here today on the instructions of the Prime Minister. Bogra residents are very lucky, Bogra has the first international standard airport in the northern region. Besides the international airport, there will be a flying academy at Bogra. Because, we need many skilled pilots. We will produce skilled pilots with proper training. Please pray that we can complete the construction of Bogra International Airport as per the instructions of the Prime Minister.
State Minister Rashiduzzaman Millat said, "As promised by the Prime Minister, we want to open Bogra International Airport very soon." Apart from the international airport, a modern airport and flying academy will be opened here.
Speaking to reporters on this matter, State Minister Mir Shahe Alam said that Prime Minister Tariq Rahman announced in a public meeting at Altafunnesa Sports Ground that Bogra International Airport will be opened soon with cargo facilities. After this announcement, an order was issued from the Prime Minister's Office. In view of this, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has started formal work in this regard. Currently, the airport in Bogra is being used by the Air Force as a training school. The Air Force Chief has already announced setting up of the North's first state-of-the-art air base there.
