Akiz Ibs launches 'Qurbani Run' gaming tournament for youngsters
Akiz IBS Limited, a subsidiary of one of the country's leading industrial groups Akiz Resources, has inaugurated a gaming tournament called 'Qurbani Run' for the young gamers of the country. The tournament was officially inaugurated in a ceremony organized at Akiz House in Tejgaon of the capital on Saturday.
Akiz has organized the tournament on Ibus' gaming platform 'Illusion Ark' with the aim of promoting the domestic gaming industry and creating a healthy and competitive entertainment environment for the youth. Gamers can participate in tournaments by registering on the platform (https://illusionarc.com).
The tournament will continue till June 10. Top 25 participants will be given attractive prizes including refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven.
Zaid bin Rashid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Akiz Ibs Limited said in the event, 'It is important to create healthy alternatives to keep the youth away from drugs, online gambling and other harmful addictions. The "Qurbani Run" tournament on the "Illusion Ark" platform is part of the initiative, which is planned to be taken internationally in the future.'
Zayed Bin Rashid also said that the main objective of Illusion Ark is to create a native platform for Bangladeshi gamers. This initiative has been taken with the aim that the youth of the country should join the development of the domestic gaming industry without relying on foreign platforms. The initiative is a digital CSR initiative of Akiz Resources for the young generation.
Chief People Officer of Akiz Resource was present at the event. Afsar Uddin, Chief Business Development Officer Mohammad Taufiq Hasan, Akiz Building Solutions Limited Cluster CEO Asadul Haque Sufiani, Akiz Resources Head of Corporate Services Zahidul Hasan and senior officials of Akiz Resources including Zubair Al Hasan, Chief Developer of 'Qurbani Run' game.
