The thief took Imam’s motorcycle and left the bicycle

After the Fajr prayer, the imam came out of the mosque and saw that his motorcycle had been stolen. But before the motorcycle was taken, an old bicycle was left there. The incident has created a sensation in the area.
The incident took place in front of Niamatpur Jummapara Jame Masjid in Syedpur town of Nilphamari on Monday morning.

The imam of the mosque, Abdur Razzak, said that he came to the mosque on a motorcycle to offer Fajr prayers as usual. After praying, he came out and found that the 125 cc motorcycle he used was not at the designated place. There is an old bicycle lying there. After talking to the local people, he came to know that the bicycle did not belong to anyone in the area.
Saidur Rahman, a resident of Syedpur, a worshiper of the mosque, said that the thief had probably left his own bicycle and taken Huzur’s motorcycle.

Abdur Razzak is disoriented after losing his motorcycle. Later this afternoon, he lodged a written complaint with Syedpur police station.
Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Syedpur police station, said that after receiving the complaint, the CCTV footage of the area around the incident was collected. He said the footage showed the image of the suspect. Efforts are underway to quickly identify and arrest him.
