The police issued a notification seeking the owner of a bucka calf taken into custody from Bharthakhla area of ​​South Surma, Sylhet. The Metropolitan Police published a press release in this regard at around half past five on Wednesday afternoon.

It is said in the notification, yesterday around two o’clock in the mouth of Barthakhla Old Pool (Kinbridge) area of ​​Dakshina Surma police station, the local people took custody of an ownerless calf and handed it over to the police. The calf is approximately one year old. Its skin color is black. Currently it is in the custody of South Surma Police outpost.

The real owner of the calf is the officer-in-charge (OC) of South Surma police station. Ashrafuzzaman or Deputy Inspector (SI) in charge of South Surma Police Outpost. The notification has requested to contact Mofizur Rahman.
