Today Wednesday around 12 noon he came out of the jail. Kashimpur Central Women’s Jail District Shireen Akhtar confirmed the matter.

Earlier on Tuesday at around 8 pm, Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court Judge Mostafizur Rahman granted bail to Shilpi Begum. He was arrested in an Explosives Act case filed at Tejgaon police station in the capital. The court granted him bail on humanitarian grounds.

Since this morning, Shilpi Begum and her child’s family and political colleagues gathered in front of the jail. Shilpi Begum was welcomed by her colleagues when she came out of prison. Alamgir Hossain, the leader of Sramik League of Tejgaon area, said, ‘You are the elder sister of our area. After the injustice done to him was publicized in the media, the court granted bail considering humanitarian aspects. We are grateful to the court and respect the law.”
