The army chief went to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Hajj

Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman went to Saudi Arabia to perform the Holy Hajj. He went to Saudi Arabia with his wife on Friday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief is visiting as a royal guest at the invitation of the Saudi government.

During the visit, the army chief will complete the Hajj rituals in the holy places of Mecca and Medina. He is scheduled to return home on June 1 after performing Hajj.
This year the Holy Hajj will be celebrated on Tuesday 26 May 9 Zil Hajj. The next day, the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia.
