Bangladesh Announces 2025 Hajj Packages With Minimum Costs Starting at 505,648 Taka

The Bangladeshi government has announced its official hajj packages for the upcoming year, setting a minimum cost of 505,648 taka for pilgrims traveling under state management. The figures, unveiled by Minister of Religious Affairs Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaykobad during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday, outline the financial framework for those planning to undertake the pilgrimage.

Under the state-managed program, authorities have introduced two distinct tiers. The first option, designated as Hajj Package-1, is priced at 615,263 taka, while the more economical Hajj Package-2 is set at 505,648 taka.

For pilgrims opting for private arrangements through authorized hajj agencies, the government has established a standardized "General Hajj Package." This private-sector option is priced at 513,648 taka. The announcement provides the official cost structure for the religious pilgrimage, ensuring transparency for prospective travelers and licensed operators as they prepare for the upcoming hajj season.
