Five young tourists bathed in the dangerous Guliyakhali beach of Sitakunda, Chittagong, despite the local prohibition. Suddenly everyone fell under the shock of a big wave. Local people rescued four people but a young man named Mohammad Rifat Hossain (18) could not be rescued. A team of fire service is carrying out rescue operations at the spot. Suddenly, all five of them drowned in a wave. Seeing this, some of us jumped into the sea and rescued four people. One could not be found.

Md. A resident of the area named Ramzan told Prothom Alo that the sea coast of Sitakunda is rough during this season. At any moment the wave can become huge. They forbid tourists. Accidents happen because tourists don't listen to them. Today, after a tourist went missing, they informed the fire service. He said that the members of the fire service continued the rescue operation till nine at night.

After that, he conducted a rescue operation for about four hours. But the missing youth was not found. They announced the suspension of the rescue operation at 9:00 p.m. due to rising tidal water. The rescue operation will start again from tomorrow Sunday morning.
