On the other hand, some other students along with Mohammad Ali Chishti, an elected executive member from Jaksu students took a stand for the other side. The Chhatra Dal party demanded the trial of Hosne Mubarak, the accused leader of Jaksu; On the other hand, Jaksu executive member Chishti and others also demanded justice, but asked to open the shops. Later, when the assistant proctor of the university, Professor Abdur Razzak, came to the spot, tension arose between the two sides and abuse was seen.

Ali Arafat Khan, a member of the Convening Committee of the University Branch Chhatra Dal, told Prothom Alo that Jaksur’s leader had unjustly beaten a person. Jaksu executive member Mohammad Ali Chishti said, “We all want justice for what Jaksu leader Hosne Mubarak has done. But forcefully closing down all shops in Battala is not a solution. We were against the closure of shops.

Meanwhile, Jaksur Health and Food Safety Secretary Hosne Mubarak denied the accusation of throwing a bowl of Halim at the employee last night. He said, “As an ordinary student, I threw the bowl in protest when I saw the fly in the smelly substance in the food. I did not hurt him physically. It is not possible for Jaksu alone to ensure food quality. As an ordinary student, I think that if you see a problem somewhere, you should take immediate action.

Professor Abdur Razzak, assistant proctor of the university, said that the tension arose due to the throwing of Halim’s bowl at the shopkeeper and the subsequent closure of the shop by a section of students. The situation is contained. The issue will be resolved tomorrow.
