Meteorological data indicates that Chattogram experienced 394 millimeters of rainfall in the 24-hour period ending at 6 p.m. Tuesday. According to climate records, this marks the highest single-day rainfall for the month of July in the city in 43 years, underscoring the severity of the ongoing atmospheric instability.
