Gulshan society demands swift exemplary punishment in case of brutal child killing in Pallavi

Gulshan Society has demanded speedy trial and exemplary punishment of the person involved in the brutal killing of a seven-year-old child in Pallavi of the capital. This demand was announced in a human chain organized at Gulshan-2 Roundabout in the capital on Friday morning.
Gulshan Society Secretary General Mojibur Rahman Mridha led this human bond, including members of the society, people of various classes and professions participated. This information has been given in a press release.
Expressing anger at the human chain, Mojibur Rahman said, ‘Our hearts are bleeding in this incident of child murder. We do not want such an unsafe Bangladesh for our children. We are not willing to wait long for the trial of this heinous crime. He urged the government and the judiciary to ensure a speedy and fair investigation and give maximum punishment to the culprits.
Joint Secretary of Gulshan Society Jaya Kabir, Khadem Mohammad Rayan Sadid and Chairman of Women and Child Affairs Sub-Committee Kamrunnahar spoke in solidarity with the human chain.
The speakers said, if the trial of such thrilling murders is delayed, the crime trend in the society will increase. They demanded to ensure exemplary punishment by bringing the culprit under the law as soon as possible to prevent the recurrence of such heinous incidents in the future.
