Dhaka Businessman Missing After Leaving Home Unannounced
A 50-year-old man remains missing in Bochaganj Upazila, Dinajpur, three days after he left his home without explanation. Delwar Hossain, a resident of Subidhat village, was last seen departing on his motorcycle around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, according to his wife, Sayyeda Husna.
Husna stated that Hossain, who owns a cattle feed shop near the Setabganj municipal tempo stand, did not inform anyone of his destination. Concerns grew when he failed to return home by 9 p.m. and his phone was found to be switched off. Family members and local residents have been searching for him without success, leaving his wife and two daughters in a state of distress.
A general diary was filed at the Bochaganj police station on Sunday. Police reported on Monday evening that Hossain's mobile phone location had been identified.
Bochaganj Police Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman suggested that Hossain may have left home after an argument with his family. He added that the man's call list has been obtained and his location confirmed, with authorities expecting to locate him soon.
