Government working to export products of women entrepreneurs: Shama Obaid

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid said that the government is working to enable women entrepreneurs to export their products.

He said this at an event titled ‘Branding Bangladesh, Beyond Borders’ at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Sunday (April 12). Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan presented the ‘Remittance Award’ to the expatriates at the event.

13 banks, one organization and Ekjam individuals were given this ‘Remittance Award’. At this time, the State Minister of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry. Nurul Haque Noor was also present.

He said, “law firms” have been appointed in 8 to 10 countries. Importance is being given to the fact that a Bangladeshi can get legal remedy if he is harassed abroad. At the same time, the government is also working to ensure that expatriates are not harassed in any work.
