Farmer at the hospital with gifts for the doctor in joy of the health of his wife and children

Farmer Jebar Ali has been running with his wife to the hospital’s ICU for four consecutive years. He spent almost all the money on his wife’s treatment. A woman with a rare disease has already regained her life. The doctor’s prohibition was that the child could not be taken. Got it by mistake. He took his wife and children home from the hospital 10 days ago.
Happy with the health of his wife and children, Jebor Ali appeared at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital with gifts for the doctor on Tuesday afternoon. He brought various fruits and sweets to Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, the head of the hospital’s ICU.
Jebar Ali’s house is in Palashbari village of Puthia upazila of Rajshahi. His wife Tanya (25) was suffering from myasthenia gravis. It is a rare and chronic autoimmune neurological disease of the body. This disease occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the nerve-muscle junction. This prevents the signals from the brain from reaching the muscles and the muscles become extremely weak. The disease is not completely curable, but it is controllable.
At the beginning of 2023, Tania was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital with sudden drooping eyelids and severe breathing problems. Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal, ICU in-charge of the hospital, said after the examination, Tanya is suffering from an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis. Then he had to stay in the hospital for 21 days with life support for about two and a half months. Now he has recovered from that disease.
In October 2025, the woman along with her husband came to visit the ICU. The couple then said that gynecologists and neuro medicine doctors all scolded them. Because, despite the ban, the woman became pregnant. Many suggested abortion, but they could not accept their advice. Later again they took shelter of ICU chief Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal. On May 3, Tanya became the mother of a daughter. On May 9, mother and daughter returned home from the hospital in good condition.
Farmer Jebar Ali came to the hospital this afternoon. He brought dab, litchi, banana and four kilograms of sweets. Jebar Ali said, ‘Sir (Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal) loves me very much. He has been treating his wife for four years. When he came, he gave me the opportunity to meet. Inquired about my wife’s physical condition. I am indebted to Sir.
When contacted, ICU in-charge Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal told Prothom Alo that he asked them to leave with these things (gifts). Still, the man has been sitting in the hospital for four hours.
