Bangladeshi ships stuck in Hormuz can cross soon: Iranian ambassador

Jalil Rahimi Jahnabadi, Iran’s ambassador to Bangladesh, said that many ships are waiting in the Strait of Hormuz for a state of war. Some ships of Bangladesh are also stranded in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s ambassador said, “We will cooperate with Bangladesh.” I will arrange for the ship to leave Bangladesh. Very fast ships can cross the Strait of Hormuz. We will discuss this with the Bangladesh government and take measures.

Jahnabadi said these things in his address as the chief guest at a mourning rally and anti-war crime exhibition titled ‘Remembrance of Martyred Students of Islamic Republic of Iran: Demanding Justice and Accountability of US-Israeli War Crimes’, organized by Revolution Students Parishad at Dhaka University’s historic Battala on Sunday afternoon.

At that time, bringing up the topic of Iran’s relationship with Bangladesh, the ambassador said, “Our relationship with Bangladesh is good. We consider Bangladesh as our brother’s country. We have no enmity with Bangladesh.

Jahnabadi said about Pakistan-mediated talks between Iran and the United States, “I thank Pakistan for arranging the ceasefire talks.” At the same time, I thank those who have supported us, including Oman.

Iran’s ambassador said, “Iran has told the United States that it will negotiate on the basis of dignity in Islamabad, or it will not negotiate at all.” And we will not attack as long as a negotiated ceasefire is in place. But if America attacks without accepting the ceasefire, then Iran will also be forced to attack.

Referring to the outcome of the Islamabad talks, Jahnabadi said, ‘We discussed it before; In spite of that, America has attacked us. We were also sure that America did not come for any peace or peace treaty. They basically want to show the world that they want peace and Iran wants war.

The special guest of the event, National Revolutionary Council convener Khomeini Ihsan strongly condemned the US-Israeli aggression in Iran and said, “The imperialist United States and the Zionist Israel are playing Holi with the blood of Iran’s children today.” The killing of children by bombing schools in Iran is a slap on the conscience of the world. We protest this barbaric attack and demand immediate cessation of hostilities.

In this protest program held in Dhaka University, symbolic coffins of martyred Iranian children in the US-Israeli attack, bloody schoolbags and photo exhibition and anti-war signing program were organized. At this time, school-college and university students gave blood-soaked handprints.

Around this event, teachers, students and common people gathered to show solidarity in Battala area of ​​Dhaka University since morning. The main attraction of the gathering was the rows of small symbolic coffins. These coffins are kept in memory of the innocent Iranian children killed in the US-Israeli attack.

Cultural Counselor of Iran Seyed Reza Mir Mohammadi, Joint Convener of National Revolutionary Council Seyed Qutb, Assistant Member Secretary Ghalib Ihsan and others were also present at the event.
