Asif-Kannara’s music swooned the hearts of lakhs of viewers

Haji Jasim Uddin, Member of Parliament of Comilla-5 Constituency, was welcomed by Bagra villagers of Brahmanpara Upazila of Comilla. On Saturday (April 11) afternoon, a reception and interesting cultural program was organized at the Bagra Secondary School ground of the upazila as the member of parliament was elected.

Asif Akbar and Kana’s heart-wrenching songs made the hearts of lakhs of spectators intoxicated by the melodious music of the wonderful cultural program. The songs of two of the country’s most popular singers enthralled the audience with crazy songs till late night.

In the speech of the chief guest at the reception, Jasim Uddin said, this achievement is not mine alone; This achievement belongs to all the people of Burichong and Brahmanpara. As long as I live, I will devote myself to your service.

Uttering a stern warning about drugs, he further said, “I will not spare anyone, whoever the drug dealer may be.” My stance against drugs has always been ‘zero tolerance’. We will work together to eradicate drugs from society.

Victoria Government College assistant professor Papia Akhter and Al Amin spoke as special guests in the program – South District BNP Member Comilla Bar Former President and Burichong Upazila BNP President Advocate AHM Taiful Alam, Brahmanpara Upazila BNP Acting President Kazi Shah Alam Khokon, Former General Secretary VP Sarkar Zahirul Haque Mithun, Brahmanpara BNP Vice President Mohsin Kabir Sarkar, Burichong Upazila BNP General Secretary Kabir Hossain, Former General Secretary Kamal Hossain, Organizing Secretary Humayun Kabir Babul, Burichong Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Javed Kaushar Sabuj, Brahmanpara Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Shahjahan Saju, Joint General Secretary Nazrul Islam, South District Youth Joint Convener Advocate Abdullah Al Mamun, former Brahmanpara Joint Convener Golam Kibria Apu, local dignitaries, local political leaders and a large number of villagers were present.

At the end of the reception, the organizers handed over the memento to the newly elected member of parliament.
