23 seats are still vacant in Chuet, the admission process has reached the fifth stage

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUET) 2025-26 academic year 2025-26 academic year undergraduate first year fifth stage admission schedule has been published. The admission process for this phase will start on May 3. This information was informed in a notice published on the admission-related website of Chuet on Thursday.

The circular mentions that in this phase, the students of engineering departments and urban and regional planning departments with original merit from 3501 to 4000 have been called. On the other hand, students with Merit Rank 131 to 135 of Architecture Department have been called.

It is mentioned in the notification that the certificate verification and health examination of the candidates in the prescribed order of merit will be held on May 3 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm in the central auditorium of the university. At the time of health examination, everyone should bring the blood group test report obtained from the recognized diagnostic center. Students wearing spectacles must carry spectacles during health examination.

To complete the admission process, the candidates with the included merit list must first enter the admission-related website of the university. After that the online preference form and all other forms indicated on the dashboard should be downloaded and printed. This is what May 3 should bring. If a candidate has not filled the online preference form earlier, he will be given an opportunity to fill it on the day of admission. The Audit Board will conduct the health examination after verifying the student’s certificate.

The day after the health examination, i.e. the main admission process will start from the morning of 4th May. Students should deposit 18 thousand 500 taka for admission in Chuet branch of Sonali Bank by 3 pm. However, after passing the health test, a candidate can be admitted by depositing money in the bank on May 3 with the approval of the authorities.

For admission, original certificate of secondary or equivalent examination, original copy of transcript, original copy of registration card of higher secondary or equivalent examination, original copy of transcript must be submitted. Along with this original copy of certificate taken from the head of the educational institution, recent (not more than 3 months) two copies of passport size color photograph, admission test admit card with signature of Hall Observer should be submitted.

Before this, the first merit list of the admission test was published on January 23. Then on February 25, the first phase admission process started. The fourth stage admission process ended yesterday Thursday. It can be seen there, still 23 seats are vacant.
