Ronaldo Hat-Trick Fires Al Nassr to Dominant 4-0 Pre-Season Win Over Rio Ave

Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick as Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory over Portuguese side Rio Ave in a pre-season friendly today.

Al Nassr took the lead in the 15th minute when Mohamed Simakan found the back of the net. Ronaldo doubled the advantage in the 44th minute, beating goalkeeper Cezary Miszta with a powerful strike.

The Saudi side went into the break 2-0 up, and Ronaldo extended their lead in the 63rd minute, putting himself on the verge of a hat-trick.

Just five minutes later, the Portuguese superstar completed his treble from the penalty spot, sealing a comfortable win for Al Nassr.

The Riyadh-based club will play their final pre-season match on Sunday against Almeria in Spain. Last week, they defeated French side Toulouse 2-1, with Ronaldo also on the scoresheet in that game.
